The event had over 40 investors and financial entities of international relevance, such as: Jose Maria Blanc,Manuel Lopez-Figueroa, Emiliano Kargieman, Jonatan Altszul, Simon Goldbard, Adolfo Nemirovsky, Mario Nemirovsky, Luis Martín Cabiedes, etc.
Over 60 one to one meetings
were held during the 2 day-event between possible investors and the
participating companies. The main purpose of these meetings was to give
an opportunity to the investors and the presenting companies to meet in
a more private setting to strenghten the relationship, so that in the
near future some partnerships will develop.

Canarias Technology 2008 will be held July 11 & 12 in Fuerteventura
We are expecting around 200 people to come to our event.
On Friday 11th the entrepreneurs will give a 5 minute presentation of their projects and will answer questions from renown investors for about 4 minutes each. The fact that experienced investors publicly "question" the entrepreneurs for us, it let us observe, listen and it give us an idea of which projects we can be interest in.
This "questioning session" has a second part to it during the afternoon session. This time we divide the companies in three categories and we give them more time (18 minutes each). The schedule for these sessions has been done previously, which allows you to change rooms to see the companies that you are more interested in.
Even though there will be plenty of time for informal interaction with the entrepreneurs, during the meals and coffee breaks, we highly recommend that you schedule an appointment to have a one-to-one session with the companies that you are interest in. These one-to-one sessions will take place on Saturday morning. To sign up for these interviews you just hae to ask one of the staff members of Canarias Technology, you will be able to identify them because their blue name tags.
